No matter whether it is in modern society or not, it is true that information is power. Knowing the enemy allows you to enter a battle and know what the outcome will be beforehand. The higher the level of this structure, the more reconnaissance you can send out. You are however unable to spy on an unexploited mine, monster city, merman troop or harpy troop. The higher the level of your reconaissance compared to the level of the enemies reconaissance, the more detailed the information will be. It is also possible for your spy to be captured during the mission which means that you will get no information from that mission.
